Why do companies undergo a rebrand?
Just as markets and clients change over time, brands must also change to best align with the current market and their prospective and current customers’ values and needs.
This means it’s important for the brand to create an ongoing connection with people. For example, if we consider brands from the 1960s , they either have evolved to stay relevant or they no longer exist.
Condo Control’s journey to rebranding
Condo Control was born from CEO Brian Bosscher’s ingenuity and his understanding of the frustrations that occur in condo and HOA communities. After purchasing his own condo, Brian joined his building’s finance committee and gained insight into the complexities and challenges that arise in the industry and how they impact Boards, Property Managers, Security and Owners.
This experience inspired Brian to build a long-term, modern, technology-driven solution called Condo Control in 2008.
Sixteen years later, as the company grew and flourished, the market trends, needs and client base have evolved; and Condo Control continues to evolve with it.
Most recently this evolution took Condo Control’s brand into account.
Condo Control rebrands for a sustainable future
Condo Control decided 2024 was the right time to assess its brand and position the organization in a way that best reflects our clients and the communities we serve.
Important factors we wanted to reflect in our new brand include:
1. Representation of all clients
Condo Control is thriving in the community management software market with leading technology as we support both condominium communities as well as homeowner association (HOAs) communities.
Those categories include:

2. Supporting our environment
Our new brand represents reaching our goal of creating an ecosystem (living environment) that works better for everyone—Boards, Property Managers, Security and Owners—all while making a positive impact on the natural environment by delivering the tools that significantly reduce paper consumption and promote a greener approach to running community operations.
3. Continued innovation that better serves communities
Finally, our brand update also better aligns with some of the exciting new features we have coming soon, designed to benefit property managers, boards, and everyone living in or managing a community. We’re committed to continually enhancing our offerings, ensuring that Condo Control evolves to meet your growing needs while delivering the same trust and reliability you expect.
These reasons propelled our rebrand as they are important to both Condo Control and our clients.
4 ways Condo Control evolved its brand
Here’s how Condo Control evolved its brand in four major ways that capture our motivation for the rebrand.
1. Logo
Condo Control has replaced its logo only showing a skyline of buildings with our new logo that represents both condominiums and HOAs with an image of a condominium building as well as house. This now represents the true nature of our full client base -condominiums and HOAs.

2. Color Palette
Our primary color palette is now in the green tones, changed from baby blue. Our new color palette of shades of green symbolizes our intention to continue make a positive impact on the environment by supporting our customers’ transition to increased paperless operations, as they see a 40-60 percent reduction in paper costs, and promote a more sustainable approach to community management.
We believe these new colors will resonate more deeply with our clientele and create a stronger emotional connection as shades of green point to health and wealth.
3. Messaging
A subtle, but meaningful change in our messaging indicates our updated messaging slightly shifts from direct cost and time-saving language to the new messaging of operating cohesively so as to result in reduced workloads and costs.
4. Imagery
We will now use more images of our versatile software, so prospects and clients can see what our unique software screens look like, as opposed to stock images. This gives our clients assurance that the images they see marketed on our website and on social media are realistic and what they’ll be using. It gets them familiar with the look and “feel” of our software features in advance.
